Pontianak ‘sightings’ in Singapore media

Many of us (including me) have always been suckers for stories of this blood sucking vampire that kept us awake at night as kids…heck, even now! Pontianaks have been featured in various mediums in Singapore. To each creator, his/her own take on the character. From books to movies and TV shows, she’s been in them all!

The film is set in 1965 and tells a story of a revengeful Pontianak from a small village in Malaysia who seeks vengeance for her death.
